Q: Any tips for attaching the runners? Followed the instructions and the bars slide everywhere when I try to screw them in? 1 star for not working

Put a few dimes in a couple stacks in your miter slots, place bars on top of them. Put a drop or two of a CA glue on top of the bars. Line the right side of the sled to your fence and lower into place over runners. Allow CA glue 30 seconds or so to bond. Flip sled over and attach from bottom with pre-drilled countersunk screws. Note - your screw holes must be wider than the screw itself. You only want the screw to bite into the wood on bottom of your sled. Otherwise, you will deform the runners from the screws and they will no longer fit your miter slots. Runners shouldn’t be moving when you are trying to attach them though, as you should have already drilled out your screw holes.

Q: Will the runners fit a craftsman tablesaw? The miter bar slots on mine have little tabs at the top from each side that the bar needs to slide under.

No it will probably not. I have a craftsman as well that had the tabs. The rails are also not proper width to fit in the channel at all even if there were no tabs, for mine at least, so universal is incorrect in it's description. I had to file the tabs down and use scrap wood as the rails for the sled. I only kept it for the stop block... My advice is just make one from scratch with mdf and scrap or a 2x4. There are tons of youtube videos on how to make them super simply or extremely advanced

Q: Why doesnt this work with ryobis? Just the track size? I am going to modify my track smaller.

The 5/8" × 5/16" miter track that comes on Ryobi, has nothing in the entire universe as an aftermarket part for slides. I can't even find the UHMW strips, or 3d printed bars in that size... The only thing I've ever found to fit in the ⅝" track, is an adapter kit for the Bow Featherboards. Shame the don't make miter sliders. My old bts10 is still my go to portable saw since its so easily dialed in. Obviously, once Betsy the bts10 goes, I'll make certain my next portable saw has the ¾" tracks. But I'll wait until 2024 when Sawstop pate t runs out, and better saw manufacturers make that safety mechanism (and not charge $1,000 for a $250 saw with the blade retraction safety guard).

I will email you mine if you would like. The plastic runners are the perfect size. But be careful they don’t bend. If they bend at all it will rub and be difficult to slide.
