Great product

Not impressed
The last time I bought de-soldering wick it had flux built into it. This doesn't appear to have this. You'll need a tin or tube of flux also.

Great value
Really good wick, not as well fluxed as superwick, but I always add extra liquid flux to any wick regardless, so makes no difference. Where there is a difference is the price, 8 quid for 7 rolls is great value, and having 6 different sizes allowing for different heat requirement's and space available is really helpful. Most importantly, none of the rolls have unravelled while using and are tightly braided. Comes with 2 reels of 1mm and 6 other sizes ranging from 1-3.5mm. Highly recommended for hobbyists, and I can't see why they wouldn't also do the job for professionals aswell. I would have given 5 stars if they were better fluxed, but as I said, it doesn't matter to me personally.

Useful Range of Sizes
Used on some motherboard repairs and it works well. When used with flux it is excellent for desoldering. Definitely value for money. Interestingly it was only when the array of sizes were to hand that I actually saw how useful they are for different jobs. Now I would not be without this set of wicks.

Great selection of useful desoldering braids - Competitively priced.
Not much to say about these except that the included size range is very useful, they do exactly what they are supposed to do, and they don't fall to pieces while doing it!With the application of a bit of flux to the braid immediately before use, (and with the use of a decent soldering iron), there is nothing to complain about whatsoever.Highly recommended for anyone who uses such things.

Very good at removing solder
I am an electronic engineer and am soldering daily. I had ran out of braid so chose this as a replacement. It works very well and with the choice of sizes, I can always use the correct size for the job. Very happy
