Q: What kind of warranty does theis fan have?

1-Year. I have had 3 of these. They are very sensitive to electrical surges and spikes. The "Blue Plug" feature it has did not save the 3 that I had (1 was kindly replaced under warranty) and all 3 protected by a whole house surge arrester and a APC Battery Backup UPS with surge suppression. So what does that tell you about the electrical? My fault or theirs? Q: Can you take apart the fan easily to clean it?

No, you can not disassemble the fan to clean easily. That is, you'll have to unscrew six screws in back of the fan, and that only allows you to clean the back of the fan. Unfortunately, you'll need to dust clean your fan daily, to avoid any clutter. Other than that, the fan works great.

Q: can you specify the maximum height in ft?? would like to know is it adjustable height? how safe for kids?

It is a 52" fan, so 4 feet, 4 inches high. I guess safety for kids would depend on the ages of the kids. The holes on the front are relatively small, so it would be difficult for small fingers to get stuck in there. It is very stable because the fan itself is rather narrow and the base is 15 inches in diameter. Hope this helps!
