The moment I plugged into my PC, this worked instantly. I recommend this product. I'm using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphic card, which has 3 dp slots and 1 HDMI slot. I was only left with last DP slot since rest were already in use, so I plugged this into my 22 inch AOC2279WH monitor which has an HDMI slot and it is working perfect, displaying 1080p@60hz resolution. There are products from other companies which may be few hundred bucks cheaper than this one, but I would recommend this one because in comparison, this one plays 4k@30 hz as well as 1080p@120hz, this plays video and audio both while those cheap ones only play video. Before ordering this one, I ordered a POSH DP to HDMI Female for 259 bucks, that product did not work, the screen was flickering and displaying white dots, had a cheap build quality, probably fit for older models, ended up wasting time in returning the product, then I ordered this one. My recommendation, do not waste your time on cheap products, go for this one.

Fantastic product. Transmits signals without any distortion when paired with a good high-speed HDMI cable (I use a gold plated one from Tukzer). Sound quality is good as well. I use it regularly to connect my work PC to my smart TV for a widescreen work area. It also has a small clip which holds the adapter in place at the port. To release the adapter, we have to press the clip and pull. That is a nice feature.

Was searching for a DP to HDMI convertor cable/adapter for my new laptop. There were many options to choose from, some very low priced and others but expensive. Since I was looking for a compact adapter, this one from CableCreation seemed to fit my requirements. I ensured that my DP port had the DP+ symbol to ensure compatibility with this adapter. The installation was easy and the convertor was easily detected by Windows. So far it is working fine. The only minor issue I see is that you need to be a little careful when handling this. With the HDMI cable connected to it, there are chances you might knock it unknowingly, which could damage the port.

For a month, it worked absolutely fine, but after that, it stopped working randomly. Either the display wouldn't show up at all, or it would show up with a lot of artifacts. I checked with multiple HDMI to HDMI cables, and also with multiple displays. Exhibited the same behaviour everywhere. Don't waste your money on this, instead get a DP to HDMI cable directly by putting in some more money.

This DP to HDMI is working properly on my HP EliteBook laptop. I have 24 inch IPS Monitor and I'm using it as main display with this adapter.Quality of DP adapter seems good.Price is on higher side for single piece.
