MudGear Base Layer Boxer Brief, Protection for Obstacle Races and Trail Running (XL (40-42), Black/Orange)

I have worn them once and not for running or working out, just around for the day. So far so good. They generally stay where they are supposed to and are not irritating. If they shrink after washing or irritate my skin after using them to work out, I will update this review. However, as of right now, I am looking to buy more. I just wish the price was a little lower.EDITED on 3/22/16So I have bought two pairs of these briefs. I really like them but I had to return one because the stitching that holds the waistband together came apart. This is not the stitching that holds the band to the brief but rather where the waistband ends come together in the back. I have not had any problems with the second pair. I would like to buy more but am skeptical about the waistband staying together so I will hold off to see what happens.

6'1, 220lbs. Hard to find a base layer that isn't too large or too small. I ordered the XL and probably could have gone one size smaller to a L. Quality of the brief is impressive and looks like it could withstand a lot of abuse! Can't wait to use them on my next mud run! Quick shipping too!
