THE Tumtum & Nutmeg: The Rose Cottage Tales (Tumtum & Nutmeg, 2)

My daughter bought volume 1 and reads it to my grand daughter each night so I got volume 2 as a birthday present. The book is well made, the story is too cute, and I can't believe in all my years of having children in the schools that they never read it or heard of it either. It's truly a charming story.

My kids adore tumtum & nutmeg. Definitely worth the read. Sweet & wholesome stories.

We love TumTum and Nutmeg. We read the first volume from the library, but I couldn’t find this second volume anywhere. We’re a library family, I almost never purchase books, but we loved the characters and story so much I knew my child would want to read more. Well, they did and this book is worth every penny. Funny enough my older elementary child also read all the stories. TumTum and Nutmeg don’t disappoint, I think they’re the cutest little mice, and I Lucy prefer this book over any other anthropomorphic animals.

These books are Great! Each Adventure leaves you captivated and wondering what will happen next! The characters are endearing and lovable! Each is well written. We read all 6 in proper order. My kids loved them (14, 8, and 7). They made for great nap time and bedtime stories. It was quality time spent reading wholesome books! Thank you, Emily Bearn!

We LOVE these stories...I have a 4.5yr old and a 2.5 year old and we have read this book and the first set. We read them as a read aloud at dinner. We have read all of them and then started over. Great illustrations and GREAT stories even for adults. I always think I can guess what is going to happen, and I am always wrong! Which makes it fun that it isn't predictable.

Great book for kids or adults alike. It is fun fiction.

My sons love Tumtum and Nutmeg so much that we have read each book 2-3 times in just 9 months! My sons are 5 & 8 if that helps you to know. We have given these books as birthday gifts too, and they are much loved! The stories are about two mice that go on adventures and the characters are so funny at times, my sons are always laughing! This is an EXCELLENT read aloud book as the storyline flows well and the conversation is written perfectly for reading aloud. I highly recommend this whole series of books by this author. She has a wonderful talent in telling stories that engage children and adults!

MY SON HAD BEEN READING THESE BOOKS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND WAS WONDERING IF WE COULD FIND THE REST OF THEM. I KNEW HE HAD THE ONES IN THE SERIES THAT WERE BEFORE THESE. I WAS SO EXCITED TO FIND THIS ONE THAT WAS A SET OF SEVERAL FOR HIM AND THE NEXT ONES TO READ IN THE SERIES. I GOT IT IN TIME TO WRAP FOR CHRISTMAS AND IT WAS TAKEN EVERYWHERE WITH US UNTIL HE FINISHED IT. THESE ARE GREAT BOOKS FOR KIDS WITHOUT VIOLENCE AND PEOPLE TALKING UGLY. BUT IT IS A THICK ENOUGH BOOK TO HOLD THE INTEREST OF AN OLDER CHILD AS WELL.

This was bought to be read to our 7-year-old grandaughter over FaceTime to help out with homeschooling.She loves listening to it and has insisted on having some of the other books in the series.

Tum Tum & Nutmeg stories are excellent. however do not think that this book is full of new Adventures. It's not. It contains A Christmas Adventure, A Circus Adventure & A Seaside Surprise which is the same as A seaside Adventure.Extremely disappointing . We were really looking forward to new adventures from the delightful pair of mice & their friends.
