Works great, independant form one another . . . Switch does not control outlet!
Anyone who knows, this is not a wall switch to control the outlet, that is another piece of hardware, this allows you to have an outlet, where you would normally have just a switch to a light in the room. I have a small apartment bathroom, limited outlets and a space heater. I don't want the cord for the space heater coming up to the countertop, and being a trip hazard. By installing this switch + outlet equipment, I can plug the space heater in, inside the closet and the cord is now out of the way.

Cheap and works. Can feed with 1 or 2 circuits, either combining or separating the switch and the receptacle feed.The light switch does NOT control the receptacle, regardless how you configure it using the included instructions. If you want to do that, you just need to break away the tab on the hot side and run your switched hot (coming OUT of the switch) as power in for the receptacle; they already share the ground and neutral so nothing changes there. If that doesn't make sense, just hire an electrician, it should take them 30 seconds to figure it out.

Works as expected-- single or dual circuit
As most duplex devices are designed, you can cut the shortening jumper so the toggle switch controls one circuit and the outlet could be on a second. This was to replace an above counter toggle switch for a garbage disposal.

the plug is little off
the plug is little off to plug in. Both of them are the same. after trying few times, it works but still kind of tough to plug in. the best is try plug in with plug before install it. Hope this help.

Need a new switch and one of the plug as well so we ordered these hook it all up and everything is fine

Could not install them sent them back.
I live in a Condo and installing them could be an issue if inspected, not worth taking the chance..

Good quality, handy option if you want a switched outlet
Note that out-of-the-box these are designed so that the switch controls the outlet. You can break off a brass tab on the right side if you want the outlet always on and use the switch for a separate circuit.
