After many years I finally broke down and bought one! Of course it just made it more clear I should I done this years ago! It works like a charm. Quick and quiet, but you can hear the water boiling [of course]. It has temp control which was not a feature I was looking for when I bought it, but now I really appreciate having it. My husband likes the blue light through the glass [which is why we kept this one - we bought two to try and this was the one we kept]. :)The last time I had a kettle like this it had the cord attached to the kettle itself, so I was specifically looking for one that had the plug in the "plate" like this.The only thing I would mention as a caution is that it is heavier than I expected. Of the two we bought this one seemed a bit out of balance but I was doing a side by side comparison. Once it had water in it I hold the handle just a smidge lower the balance is fine.It's a great kettle, and I would recommend it highly.

So I used to have this kettle that boiled water really fast and I really loved it but then one day it got a rust stain so I went shopping on Amazon. Holy crap! You can buy a kettle with a thermostat on it? This is the best thing ever! No more scalding yourself on hot chocolate, no more screwing up your tea because you're guessing at temperature. Then, it's so pretty! I know I know I know, don't buy things because they're pretty. It's seriously mesmerizing watching the water boil, this is a purchase that makes me happy not just because it works so well, but also because I love the way it looks. The biggest bonus is that it is affordable. 😊

This product works great. The buttons are a little bit confusing and I wish the warming lasted longer. I have purchased several others since then and I always go back to this one because of the adjustable temperature. Others give you a couple of presets to choose from where this one you can actually change it to a specific temperature. I haven't had any problems with it and I have owned it for well over 4 years. I don't write a lot of reviews but I thought this deserved one.

This is my old review: I loved this kettle. It started to get spots on the stainless bottom after a few months and it stopped working completely yesterday. Just out of nowhere kaput. :(Follow up as of August 1, 2020. Someone from the company reached out to me and said they would replace the kettle since it was no longer working. Amazon wanted to give me a refund, but I contacted them again again and said I’d really just like the same kettle instead of refund and shipping for another, so they sent another I’m 2 days!! I love that it keeps water warm at a temp that I can read...and it has a big reservoir. Thank you Llivekit! What a sweet surprise!

8 days after the allowed return date the kettled stopped receiving power from the base. Given the open-to-all-comers design of the base this probably shouldn't be too surprising. However, I made sure there was nothing in the grooves and cranies of either the base of the pot or the top of the base and don't think that was the problem. Combined with the funky operation of the control panel I decided to return the kettle. JFTR, my criticism of the control panel's operation comes from someone who just wants the kettle to stay on for the 1 hour it allows without contantly reprogramming it every time I pour a cup of hot water. It is very pretty though.

We just got it yesterday and the entire family is in love with it. It is great product. It is mostly glass and stainless steel made. No plastic. The lid is completely removable so that will make it easy for cleaning the inside. Heats up the water pretty fast in less than a minute. Nice blue light. The product doesn't look cheap at all. It adds a shinning look to your kitchen. Very convenient to use. I don't thing anyone who buy this will disagree with me. I have not seen any cons yet.

Easy to use and clean. Water heats up quickly. The temp gauge is nice to have for different types of teas. No discoloration or build up on the inside bottom. One minor thing that bugs me is that the cord does not completely wrap around the underside. There’s an annoying bit that sticks out with the plug. It’s not a big deal, but I like things to be tidy when not in use. Otherwise, I recommend the kettle.

We've had this kettle for a bit over 6 months and while it's generally lovely (easy to clean, reasonably fast at boiling) if you get over about half full, it starts boiling over and sends water cascading down the side of the kettle onto the heating element.
