Do not underestimate the importance of having enough RAM
For a long time I was a believer in "16 GBs is enough RAM for the current day." Well, that is true to some extent but you will suffer shortcomings, as I found out. While my system was stable due to rigorous upkeep and meticulous planning in building and upgrading, I never realized how much of an improvement going from 16 GBs of RAM to 32 would make.Even with a 5600X I saw a remarkable uplift in performance, even though I had decent quality TridentZ RGB 16CL 16GB 3200 MHz RAM. Multitasking and alt-tabbing felt a lot smoother, and 1% lows were greatly improved in CPU-heavy games like Final Fantasy XIV. Stutters that come from loading into new zones or assets are virtually gone. If you are on AM4 still, and have recently upgraded to a 5700X3D or 5800X3D, you will absolutely want to consider it, and this kit in specific.TridentZ Neo kits are made specifically for those people who want to tinker and squeeze every last clock out of their components, and while I'm only a casual overclocker, I haven't found the need to do that with this kit. My Gigabyte X470 mobo automatically detected the kit and set the XMP profile without my intervention, and it's been smooth sailing since. The kit I got is dual-rank Hynix B-die for those who are interested in that. As for aesthetics, the RGB on G.Skill DIMMs is some of the most vibrant I've ever seen. Colors are deep and rich and the gradation is excellent for a diffuser of this size. The heat spreader is two-tone with black and powder silver resembling anodized aluminum. The silver actually reflects the other lights in my rig in a soft, pleasing way. The heat fins are rather tall though so be aware of that if you've got a giant air cooler in your build.Overall I would say that this kit, which would have been $200 a couple of years ago, is absolutely worth the price it's at currently for any AM4 holdouts looking for a cheap but effective upgrade. I wouldn't have considered 32GBs a necessity in the past, but the landscape of games is changing and few people only run one program while gaming anymore. Having the extra overhead does not hurt at all, the speed of this kit will ensure your X3D chip can stretch its legs, and can even give new life to older Zen 3 processors that might be starting to feel a bit lethargic with their age.So, is 16 GBs of RAM enough in 2024? Yes, but you can do much better for not much more. For AM4 users, DDR4 is entering its dirt cheap era, and premium RAM can be had for a portion of a comparable DDR5 kit. There's no reason not to upgrade, as it is one of the cheapest upgrades you can make if you're still running 16 GBs or less on Windows 11.

Company stands behind its products
I bought this product four or five years ago and started having problems. Ran the memory tests, and it turns out both memory sticks were bad. Went to the company website, requested an RMA, they replied within a day or so, I sent the memory sticks back per their instructions, and received a new replacement within a week or so (I live in Hawaii, so it takes a little longer). This company is awesome and stands behind its products.

Good Quality Dual Rank (2R) Memory
I must have gotten lucky because both sticks I received are SK Hynix Dual Rank (2R) and based on the reviews and answers I read I was expecting these to be single rank. It's been running stable with XMP enabled @ 3600MHz for over 48 hours with no crashes during stress tests or gaming. Although with my luck it'll probably instantly become unstable the moment I hit submit on this review; until then I'm happy with my purchase. If you're comparing these to the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, go with these. Not only are these CL16 instead of CL18, these are cheaper and the RGB doesn't require additional software. The Corsair Vengeance RGB RT (Note: RT, not Pro) however has a higher base spd (3200Mhz) than these, with similar XMP timings (16-20-20-38) and they're only $10 more expensive, so those will be the next ones I try, but I'm not thrilled about the idea of having to run extra software for the RGB.System Info:CPU: i5 10600kMobo: MSI MPG Z490M Gaming Edge Wifi
