Lovely colour, great hair treatment
I bought this after previously using Lush caca rouge bar. I was worried that it would be too orange on my mousey roots but it turned out a beautiful rich dark red thats lovely and vibrant. My curls seem to love it too as it's a great conditioning treatment. To make it I mixed in a few tablespoons of olive oil and apple cider vinegar and warm water to a thick paste, then left overnight in the fridge. The next day I loosened the paste with a bit more warm water but not too runny as it can be too messy otherwise. Use vaseline around hairline neck and chin to protect and use vinyl gloves (not included) applying first to roots. First time I used henna i made sure to section hair well and found it most easy to start from the crown working outwards and swirling each section into a bun to keep it neat as it can be very messy (I sat in the bath). For my second application after focusing on the roots I leant over the bath an applied the rest of the henna to about 8 rough sections which was much easier to do as I didnt have to worry as much about even coverage. After each application I found it most easy to wind some cling film aroud my head an cover with a turbie towel. I left it for 4 hours and washed it out with conditioner.

First time user
So this is the first time I have used henna on my hair, I had done lots of research and felt happy enough to purchase from the henna guys.It was delivered very quickly in an airtight package, it wasn't until I was ready to mix my henna that I opened it to find an instruction leaflet, gloves and and a disposable shower cap. I wasn't expecting that so it was a nice surprise. The henna powder was fine and had been sifted well, was very easy to mix with my chosen ingredients, a little smelly but that was to be expected.I left it to cure overnight but didn't see much change in the colour of the mix the next day, I was a little wary but cracked on anyway. Once applied I wrapped my hair in cling film, the provided shower cap and then a towel over the top, let it sit for 4hrs then rinsed off. I didn't find it difficult to rinse out, takes some time, about 10-15 minutes but I expected it to take longer. My hair felt really well conditioned - usually it's like a crazy birds nest when wet - it wasn't tangled and easy to manage. It's worked brilliantly, a little more orange that I had wanted but I know it will darken over the next few days.I will definitely buy from the henna guys again.

Lovely!
This was my first time using henna. I found it easy to use and not gritty as I have heard some henna can be. I used black tea instead of water to mix it and used low-poo when rinsing. The pic is straight after use, the colour should develope over the next couple of days but I'm really pleased with it :)

with good results. My hair is very thick and falls ...
Mixed this with water, lemon juice and honey. It gives a lovely silky mixture, unlike the grainy texture of lush henna, and spreads very well. On my previously bleached then dyed copper hair, it gives a healthy carrot tone which fades to a natural rich ginger. On my light brown roots it's giving a rich auburn. I've left it in for three hours and five hours on separate occasions, with good results. My hair is very thick and falls between my mid back and tail bone, and 200g was plenty.

Amazing colour
Amazing stuff. I switched from lush henna as I got tired of melting down or grating the blocks. I bought a kilo and portions it into 100g bags so it should last me about a year. I mix with lemon juice and boiling water and leave overnight and then apply to clean, dry hair, wrap in cling film for 3 hours and it gives the most gorgeous fiery red shine. I've had a fair few compliments since I started using it AND it covers my greys! It does smell like cow pat but I have found that's the case with every brand I've tried!

Lovely henna for hair and great stain.
Really lovely henna for hair. Mixed up with warm water and applied same day, left for 5 hours and this covered grey and gave my hair a lovely deep red shine. Mixed to a decent jelly consistency and applied easily, super fine sift so washed out easily and didn't block drain.

Lovely henna
Great product. I mix mine with strong tea. I have dark brown hair and this gives it a lovely coppery look. Takes to my greys and lasts long. Dont mix with lemon juice as that dries out your hair.

Great quality
This henna is perfect. The quality of it is incredible as for skin or hair dye. It's just a little pricy which is probably ecording to the quality
