edit: sad to say i bought this fan in July 2018 and last week (1st december 2019) it stopped working.. as you can see from the rest of my review (back then) i was extremely happy with it , but i did expect it to last longer so just wanted to report this.This fan has saved the lives of a few in my family!. Its one of my best buys most definitely. The fan arrived promptly and although the remote control was missing i contacted the company and they were very apologetic and posted one immediately via first class post royal mail. I cannot fault the customer service of this company along with their product they are extremely good! As i have mobility issues it is a godsend there is a remote , there is also a timer so at night i can settle down with it turned on and just put the timer on for an hour so i dont end up feeling dried out when i wake the next day. Its been all round excellent, the power of the thing is crazy!, everyone comments on it, similar to having a small jet engine in my living room lol. It has a few different modes including Eco and Night time mode but i just tend to use it on fan mode, its a very attractive fan as fans go, soo fed up of the white ones that tend to look dirty and used within days of cleaning. As i said it arrived very promptly and the company is courteous and reliable. Would recommend.

Firstly the item arrived looking like it had been used and returned. Scratched base, marks all over, shoddy looking tape around the packaging.I then started to put it together, reluctantly (but it was hot, so I overlooked the damage).The stem doesn't fit too well in the base and wobbled.The rubber ring that is supposed to hold the two halves of the blade cover together is very poor quality, was all bent and curved, and therefore impossible to get it to stay in place while assembling.The remote is cheap and plasticky, and the whole thing felt like poor chinese ****. Which I'm sick of, so I'm sending mine back.They then wanted me to pay postage!!! Nice touch. Got it refunded after a call to amazon, but...I'd rather pay more and get something half decent that I can actually assemble.

I rarely write reviews but I need to warn any potential buyers...So I bought this fan 2 weeks ago with this surreal summer we’re having in the UK. On first looks I thought it’s an ‘OK’ bit of kit for the money. Much louder than I’d have hoped for (wouldn’t be great for light sleepers).After a handful of uses (less than 15, since I’ve not even had it 2 weeks!) it’s broken. Switched it on when I got in from work, immediately heard a crackling noise and the fan died, LED lights off etc. Presumed it was the fuse but that didn’t bring it back to life. What a waste of money, if it lasted a year or two I wouldn’t be bothered. But TWO WEEKS! Duronic should be ashamed of themselves and amazon need to remove it from existence.You have been warned!

"Simply set the timer and drift off to sleep......." sorry but even on the lowest setting, the fan was extremely noisy and drifting off to sleep would be nigh on impossible for me, given I purchased the fan for bedroom use it was therefore unsuitable, which was a shame because it was a nice looking fan, seemed well built and was easy to put together, just not right for me. The delivery was prompt, the packaging in good order. My refund was prompt.

Nothing really to dislike about this fan, yes you do get some wind noise but if you didn't then it wouldn't be doing its job!!!there is a resin bonded ballast weight under the decorative plastic base that keeps it stable even when its on it's top speed.we find that it copes for us quite comfortably without too much noise on just setting 1, there is a built in timer but we cant really see much use for it so never use it I admit. but it was good value and one of the only fans we could get in the hot weather when our tower fan suddenly broke, but now really like it.We borrowed a similar but white fan as a temporary measure that compared to this one that seemed to hardly work on even max speed that was made of much cheaper materials etc etc.Delivery was really quick,all the parts were well wrapped and protected and great value for the money, the assembly instructions could have been a little better but if you look at the diagram it's pretty simple to figure out so once assembled will be dead easy to put away for winter storage.

I bought this to replace a fan which I have in the bedroom and have used for 10 years, it had become noisier over the last few months so had to go. I bought this as I thought the extra blades would make it quiet, unfortunately the bearings in the motor are incredibly noisy and sound like they may not last very long. The remote control buttons have to be pressed very firmly to make them work, so firmly that I'm scared that I will break the control unit. I may have just got a bad one, but for the money I expected a better product.

Very, very [pleased with our new Duronic fan. In the recent heat wave, our old fan just couldn't take it anymore and after only 20+ years, it died. All local stores were completely sold out. I searched on line hoping that there were still some fans available somewhere in the UK and immediately found the Duronic FN60 on Amazon. Ordered one day, my fan was delivered the next. That is what I call excellence ! Thank you Duronic and thank you Amazon. Would I recommend to others ? 'Already have !!

Easy to assemble - yes, the instructions could be better; but it’s simple to work it out. Main need is to provide a jet of cooler air and this fan really delivers! It’s no noisier than other fans I’ve had and the remote control is a great bonus. The other bonus is they had stock during this heatwave where most others had sold out. So 5 stars for that too.
