For making the best espresso. But design of switch needs modification
Didn't rate its separate qualities as I didn't understand what "sharing of powers", "thickness" and "sheerness" mean! But the frother is indispensable for the only purpose that I use it: making my daily morning cup of foamy espresso. This one was the replacement for the earlier Ikea frother that gave up on itself after more than two years of faithful service. For the best results - working up a thick foam - you should use the frother on the coffee decoction in the mug before pouring the milk into it. Pour the milk into the mug only after doing so.Further feedback: after 2 months the frother packed up. The switch didn't work. I dismantled the frother and found that there was a loose contact. Fixed the problem with `jugaad` and reassembled it. Working fine for the time being. Design of the switch is faulty, and needs to be modified.

Overall a good product • Difficult to insert batteries
The product functions very well, the frothing it does is of good quality. Works best for milk, buttermilk and basically if you want to save time stirring or shaking up any drink of your choice. However, it was quite a task for me to figure out how and which batteries go in. You are to use the small AAA batteries 2 (of them) and it can be really tricky to do this but once you skip to the good part, there's no turning baack, this frother is a good product.

it's not working
This frother did not come with proper packing. I mean, I was using an Aerolatte frother before this and it had a proper casing to store it in. Also, I had to put in batteries myself. The battery case is not made in such a way as to enable easy access, so I found it difficult to insert the batteries. Moreover, it stopped working after maybe four uses. I found that this is some kind of a loose contact, so if I press it very hard in a particular place it does work, so altogether a poor product. I bought it seeing the Ikea tag and was sadly disappointed.

Worst packing
Forther - 3.5/5Packing - 0/5Firstly I"ll talk about packing, packing of the forther was the worst part as it was not having any outer cardboard box it was just simply tied on plane cardboard sheet(I attached the pic to clear that how you will recieve your order) Manufacturers can easily give cardboard box even a 20rs pen also come in little box packing.!Secondly Forther, I used it 1 day and made coffee thrice the quality of Forther is neutral neither good nor bad at this price point. The thing that i like about it is no heating at all and it's very handy & light. It can give very foamy texture to your coffee as shown in the picture i uploaded. The bad thing was that motor inside is not much powerful.( You can stop it easily with 1 finger). But if you want to make 2-3 cups of coffee it's very easy with it.Let's see how long can it work.

Genuine IKEA frother
Neatly packed. Delivered on time. Works flawlessly. I believe this is the newer version for Indian IKEA. The one I used before from international has more power and is shaped differently. But this does the job perfectly well. None of the cheap local fritters or even the 1k ones here on Amazon match this. It is expensive than the MRP, but hey, it gets delivered. If ikea delivers to your city, but directly.

DONOT BUY!!
The product is of low durability and resistance. it didn't last me two days. The frother stops working in the middle. I have changed the batteries several times but all in vain. I would recommend not buying a frother/beater from Amazon since it doesn't have good frothers/coffee beaters. be cautious before buying this one. It's a shame that this is called an IKEA Product.

Battery is a task to insert, but otherwise it's a value for money product.
I was disappointed honestly , when I opened the package- It came with absolutely no instructions. It felt like a very low-cost and cheap in appearance.Upon opening the package, the next big task was to understand how the batteries fit it. The slide clip on the top, is very delicate so advisable to handle that with care. You will need 2 regular batteries for this to function. The first battery you insert (inner side) will have the negative side down, and the second battery (outer side) will have positive side down. Alternatively, you can try switching the sides and see what works best. The first time I clicked the button to operate- it was pretty smooth and did a brilliant job of frothing the milk. However, the next time, I had to slap the device (not a lot of force) to start and since then it has been working smoothly. I have used this to only froth the coffee concoction and milk.Cleaning it is also super easy- Place it under running tap water.
